A New Zealand government minister has praised migrant employees as good or very good workers.
New Zealand, Immigration Minister Jonathan Coleman has quoted a survey which was run in the country in which immigrants and employers were questioned on their work arrangements.
The survey assessed the benefits and issues associated with employing migrants.
Over a third of employers reported the migrant workers had skills and experience that would not otherwise have been available to their businesses.
Minister Coleman praised the migrant workers who had taken part in the survey, saying they had reinforced the value they provide to employers.
